PLANNING
Some people are very good at improvising. For others, planning works much better. Checklists, self-imposed deadlines and diaries full of appointments: planning is not for everyone. Yet planning is often recommended. It can create precise insight into what you need to do and make big tasks seem much smaller and easier. Depending on how the planning is done, it can also create inflexibility. If you accidentally fail to include something in your planning, you are also more likely to overlook it. Besides, planning a schedule is sometimes quite a job by itself. Do you plan your life? Or does your life plan itself?
